TheGoodOldDays

So I like to get out of the house and go to my Auntie Lepa's house. The kids over there are hilarious and Malosi loves to play with all the boys over there. Just yesterday when I was over there all the kids came home from school and wanted to have a dance contest so I busted out my tunes and they busted out allllll the dance moves. I was laughing my muli off. I took over a bunch of sidewalk chalk I got Malosi for Easter and the kids had so much fun. As I sat there watching them all in their own little world, I couldn't help but think about how much I miss being a kid. The biggest responsibility I had was keeping my room clean. That tends to bump down on my current list of responsibilities every once in a while, like right now as our bags of clean clothes have yet to make their way off of the ground and into their designated drawers and shelves. It can wait. It's only been sitting there for more than a week. Anyway, so I was sitting there watching them draw monsters, hopscotch squares, and outlines of each others bodies. I miss the simple days. Ok so get this, one of the oldest boys, Isaiah, was using his phone(yes, a smartphone) to play songs for the dance contest and then out of nowhere asks if I have an Instagram.
'Yeah, why? Do you?'
'Yeah! Everyone at my school does.'
What the? He's in the 6th grade! Frekin crazy.
So it makes me kinda sad that kids nowadays don't seem to get the same experiences we did as kids. Kids now have smartphones, iPods, iPads, and all that crap that we can't seem to live without. Crazy to think we need all that when I used to think having a wireless phone in my room was such a huge deal. I try not to let Malosi have to much time in our phones. The TV is constantly on at our house, but I'm glad he isn't glued to it. He would rather be outside. Hallelujah! I see parents getting their kids iPads and iPhones for their birthdays and Christmas and I'm like, why?? Get them a ball, a playground for outside, something for kids! I understand letting them play on it every once in a while is good like I do when Losi is in the car and we're going out or those times when I just want to lay down for just a few minutes longer, but letting them have access for more than 15-20 minutes at a time, everyday is just crazy. Losi ain't getting a phone til at least middle school, maaaaaybe....
Anyway, getting off the point yet again, I love watching kids using their imagination. It's just beautiful. And frekin funny as. So here's some pictures I snapped while they were playing. Wish I could post the dance videos but I'm just too lazy.

And now for some pictures just because I wish I could be a kid again :)

Oh the good old days.....

ForTheFirstTimeInForever

Ok so I'm watching Frozen with the kids right now, hence my caption for this post. And it actually relates to what I wanted to write about before I even started the movie.
So my cousin Tati, who is seriously more like a sister, like seriously, is starting school here at BYUH. My Auntie Noela, my Auntie Lolina, and my not so little cousin Molia came to drop Tati off and hangout for a week. For the first time in forever, I felt like I was home without actually being there. I mean I always feel at home in a sense because I'm always with Mosi and my kids, but there is different feeling when I'm around my family that I grew up with my whole life. I feel like a kid again when I'm with them. Do I act like a kid when we're together? Maaaaybe.... Yes.... And what? I'm a totally different person when I'm with them and I swear I start to sculpt abs from all the laughing we do. It's hard to describe our relationship and I won't even try to explain so here's some pictures I took whenever I actually remembered to.

So that is Molia on the left. She is a crack up. And she just turned 4 this past week! Leila on the right is turning 4 in October. Molia and her 3 siblings look much older than they are, and are bigger than most kids their age. It's because they're Samongan(half Samoan half Tongan) #PolyProblems Anyway, this girl has got attitude! And not in a bad way, she's such a good girl. Her diva mannerisms are just hilarious!

Love my Auntie Noela! She is the funniest lady you will ever meet, fa real fa real.

We played tourist at PCC one day, forgot how much I love that place!
Diva statusssss

So pretty much, my family is highlarious and is better than yours! Ya okay byyyyyeeee!!!!!
